Understanding the Blessing of God
Gen. 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto to them, Be fruitful and multiply…
The blessing of God to Adam came with an instruction to be fruitful and multiply. The Blessing might be vague because you cannot wrap your hand or mind around how the blessing of God can or will come. However, with the instruction that comes with it, you can know what to do to access or understand the Blessing of the Lord.
Many at times, men of God are known to proclaim blessings, “You are blessed, the Week is blessed for you” and we chorus “Amen”. The Blessing cannot be fully understood. Your mind might be in that issue you have at home or in business or your finances but God wants to do much more than what you are thinking of. The Blessing of the Lord is the foundation and root solution to every challenge you might face. When it comes, it takes care of every issue.
We must also pay attention to the instructions that come after the Blessing comes. After God blessed them, He said, “Be fruitful, multiply, replenish, subdue and have dominion…”. These instructions guide us on what part we are to play so that we might have access to the blessings of the Lord.
I know many of us are good at waiting for that new week’s blessing to come as of Monday morning. Yes, I am always hopeful too, and waiting on God. You should ask yourself whether you also got the instruction that followed after. It could have been from your Pastor or from God’s written word or a Rhema or leading in your spirit. It is always there. I have seen myself make commitments while in church but after I don’t follow up on it. Such ideas that come to you on what to do on Sunday evening or Monday morning first thing at work are very important. They could be the instructions you need to carry out for the blessing of that week to manifest fully.
The Blessing of the Lord is too manifold for you to tie it only to that problem in mind. There is more to what God wants to do.
